Holiday closures
Friday is Christmas Eve. The following schedule will be in effect today and Friday:
Offices: Some city offices will be closed today; check with your city hall. All city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed Friday.
Mail: Mail will be delivered as usual, and post offices will be open both days.
Libraries: Most libraries will be open today but will be closed Friday.
Banks: Most banking institutions will be open today but will run on a limited schedule Friday; check with your branch for hours of operation.
Schools: Public schools will be closed both days.
Public transportation: Metrolink trains and Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their normal schedule today. Metrolink trains will not run Friday.
Trash collection: Trash will
be picked up as scheduled today and Friday.
