Woman Shot, Killed Near Disneyland

A 44-year-old woman was shot and killed Thursday outside an Anaheim gas station at Ball Road and Walnut Street, about two blocks from Disneyland, police said.
The unidentified woman was inside the station, police said, when a man she knew entered. “He asked her to go outside, then he pulled out a handgun, opened fire and killed her,” said Sgt. Rick Martinez.
Police identified the suspect as Gary Clifford Laine, 48, and believe he fled in a green 1998 Toyota Tacoma truck, California li-cense plate 6K93269.
