Man, 60, Stabs Son to Death, Authorities Say

An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death by his father Sunday after the two got into a fight in their home, authorities said.
The unidentified victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnie Jones.
The 60-year-old father was not taken into custody because detectives determined he had acted in self-defense, Jones said.
The incident occurred at 1:30 p.m. in the 38000 block of 12th Street East.
