Driver Dies After Car Hits Median in Laguna Woods

A Laguna Hills man was killed late Wednesday when he lost control of his car and hit a median on Moulton Parkway in Laguna Woods, authorities said.
Christian Portillo, 19, died at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo after the 11:30 p.m. accident just north of El Toro Road.
“He lost control of his vehicle, hit the median and then hit some trees in the median,” said Lt. Hayward Miller, an Orange County sheriff’s spokesman.
The accident is still under investigation.
