Driver Sought in Crash That Killed 2 Passengers

Police were searching Friday night for a driver who ran from the scene of an accident in which two of his passengers died, authorities said.
The accident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. when a car with three people in it plowed into a parked vehicle at the corner of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Paxton Street. The front-seat passenger was dead at the scene and a rear-seat passenger died a short time later in the at a hospital.
