A community garden slated for closure will stay open for at least three more weeks, a judge has decided.
The 14-acre garden at 41st and Alameda streets was to close this Sunday. Lawyers for the 350 families that farm it sought a restraining order against the landowner and the city after structures on the property were torn down before the deadline. The judge’s stay came Tuesday.
All parties are scheduled to meet again in court March 16.
