Our Town, Our Team
It’s time for the city of Los Angeles to embrace the one team that is undoubtedly putting forth 110% every game and succeeding: our Los Angeles Kings.
It’s impossible not to like the way the Kings play hockey. Hard, all heart, and as a team. Unfortunately, those are words I cannot use to describe the other teams in Los Angeles right now. Let’s face it, despite what Frank McCourt says about wanting to win this year, the Dodgers are going to feel effects from the Fox-Kevin Malone era until Darren Dreifort’s contract is up after 2006. Despite Phil Jackson’s Zen teaching, the Lakers have been anything but at peace for the last two years. The Clippers are, well, the Clippers. And the Angels and Ducks play in Anaheim, not in Los Angeles.
