Officers Kill Man Who Ran Into Police Cars
Police officers shot and killed a man early Sunday morning after he reportedly rammed a stolen car into two police vehicles in the parking lot of a gym.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a statement by the Corona Police Department.
Neither the driver’s name nor those of the officers were immediately released.
Officers arrested a passenger, Sophia Marie Antolin, 20, of Wildomar on suspicion of violating parole, police said.
Antolin suffered minor injuries from police dogs when she refused to leave the car, authorities said.
