Odds Look Good for Jones and Schvaneveldt

Share

Trainers Paul Jones and Blane Schvaneveldt will have four of the five runners in tonight’s $15,000 Stars and Stripes Handicap at 300 yards.

Jones, the runaway leader in the trainer standings, will be saddling That Lovely Day and Red High Heels. Schvaneveldt will run McKaizlees Kiss and Pennants Chick. The only other entrant in the race for fillies and mares is The Cash Of Queens.

That Lovely Day has won four of her last five, and Red High Heels scored in her second start for Jones in May. She has earned all three of her victories at tonight’s distance and will be ridden for the first time by jockey Hector Cuevas.
