A South Bay real estate agent missing for four days may have been abducted from her El Segundo home, police said Monday.

Julia Buchanan Keller, known as “Deede,” was last seen Thursday at her home on the 500 block of Richmond Street, El Segundo police said. Keller, 55, a divorced mother of two adult children, lived alone. She works at Shorewood Realtors.

According to a police statement, the circumstances surrounding Keller’s disappearance were suspicious and she may have been removed from her home against her will.

Keller’s son reported her missing Sunday after she failed to show for several appointments, which was extremely uncharacteristic, said El Segundo Police Sgt. Janet Zimmer.

Keller is “a very conscientious and meticulous person and very close to her family, and since Friday she has not been in touch,” Zimmer said. Investigators have questioned family and friends but have not identified a suspect, Zimmer said.

Keller is 5 feet 6 and 140 pounds with short, light-brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing dark pants and a tan and black print shirt. Her silver 1999 Mercedes Benz E320, license plate number 4ENR010, also is missing, police said.
