4 Marines Are Killed in Crash at Air Station

SAN DIEGO
Four Marines were killed Wednesday night in a fiery crash of a small jet at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, officials said.
The four were aboard a UC-35 that crashed in a vacant field about 1 1/2 miles east of the runway. The plane was on a routine training flight.
The names of the four were withheld until families were notified. The crash was under investigation.
