Bettors who like to play the place pick all at local tracks will almost certainly be using An Annika Moment on their tickets tonight at Hollywood Park.

A 3-year-old Mecke filly owned by a partnership and trained by Mike Mitchell, An Annika Moment has been second in six of her 10 starts. She will break from the rail under jockey Corey Nakatani in this evening’s fifth, a $35,000 maiden affair at 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. The race is part of a pick six with a carry-over of $71,921.

This will be the first start on grass for An Annika Moment, who is the 3-1 favorite on Russ Hudak’s morning line, since she finished last in a field of nine April 18 at Santa Anita.

However, that race was at a mile and An Annika Moment is better sprinting. The last time she ran short on the grass, she finished second, beaten a neck by Broad Minded, on April 3 in Arcadia.

Race of the day: One N Three, who has won two of four starts at Aqueduct, will debut for trainer Lisa Lewis in today’s eighth at the Ozone Park, N.Y., track. The 5-year-old Dixie Brass horse, who has won five of 14 overall, will be ridden by Shaun Bridgmohan in the $51,000 optional claimer at six furlongs.

One for the road: Hell Roaring Creek adds Lasix for his second start for trainer Bill Mott and could be the controlling speed in the $45,000 maiden race at 7 1/2 furlongs.

Exotically speaking: A pick three using Que Borges and Butte City in the fourth, Forloveofshirley in the fifth and Haint You Grand, The Cat’s Joanna, Gambling Rent and Dad’s Lessons in the sixth.

Winners: Previous day/meet total: 0/21. Money: Previous day/meet total: $0/$119.20. Total money bet: $116.
