* Kevin Kuhn and D.J. Armitage, Los Angeles Loyola: Kuhn scored 1:38 into overtime for a 7-6 victory over host Westlake Village Westlake in the quarterfinals of the Thousand Oaks tournament. Armitage had 10 saves for the Cubs, who will play Thousand Oaks in a semifinal today at 10:50 a.m. The Lancers defeated Orange El Modena, 7-5, in their quarterfinal match. The title game is set for 3:20 p.m. today at Westlake Village Westlake.

* Steve Homeyer, El Segundo: His second goal of the game gave the Eagles a 5-4 double-overtime victory over Walnut in a Chino Hills Ayala tournament quarterfinal.

* Jurl Vinegara, Anaheim Savanna: Scored his third goal of the game with 59 seconds left for an 8-7 nonleague victory over La Palma Kennedy.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

* Annie Hillier and Sara Heller, La Canada: Hillier had 23 kills and Heller had 40 assists in a 30-28, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18 victory over Fullerton Rosary in the first round of the Cerritos Gahr tournament.

* Courtney Kent, Covina Western Christian: Had 26 kills and 36 digs in a 17-25, 23-25, 33-31, 25-22 nonleague victory at San Juan Capistrano St. Margaret’s.

* Brandy Barnett, Glendora St. Lucy’s: Senior outside hitter had eight kills, including five in the second game, to go with three blocks in a 25-17, 25-17, 25-16 nonleague victory at Covina Charter Oak.

* Ashlee Relyea, Huntington Beach Brethren Christian: Had 13 kills, 13 digs and five blocks in a 28-26, 25-21, 25-15 nonleague victory at Santa Barbara Bishop Diego.

* Stacy Nanninga and Alexa Antoni, Pasadena Mayfield: Nanninga had 19 kills and Antoni had 30 assists in a 25-18, 24-26, 24-26, 27-25, 18-16 nonleague victory over host Ontario Christian.

* Julie Stilson, Lancaster Bethel Christian: Had seven kills and three service aces in a 17-25, 25-18, 15-13 victory over L.A. Immaculate Heart in the Rio Hondo Prep tournament.

* Vicki Andrade and Stephanie Sykes, Riverside King: Seniors won, 6-1, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 2 doubles in a 16-2 nonleague victory over Hemet.

* Brittany Magliocchi and Sunny Chang, Brea Olinda: Teamed to win their doubles sets, 7-5, 6-2, 6-0, in an 11-7 nonleague victory over visiting Pasadena Poly.

* Katie McGrath, Westlake Village Westlake: Swept, 6-0, 6-1, 6-1, for the host Warriors, who won all nine singles sets in a 15-3 nonleague victory over Newhall Hart.

* Lisa Hardebeck, Sarah Smetana and Ana Cottle, Orange El Modena: Each swept her singles sets in a 16-2 nonleague victory over visiting Anaheim Esperanza. Hardebeck and Cottle are freshmen and Smetana is a senior.
