Men Injured in Plane Crash Remain Critical
Two men aboard a replica 1920s Ford tri-motor plane that crashed in Fullerton remained in critical condition Sunday, Fullerton police said.
The pilot was Jay Yoshinaga, 45, of Gardena, according to Officer Kathryn Crum. The co-pilot was Anthony Albanese, 46, of Brea, she said. The two remained at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Shortly after takeoff from Fullerton Municipal Airport on Saturday, the plane crashed into an intersection, hitting a car.
Injured in the vehicle were Buena Park residents Rebecca Perez, 58, and Valerie Perez, 32.
The women were not seriously hurt.
