Golf Ratings Soar
Sunday’s television coverage of the Masters on CBS earned a 10.3 overnight national rating with a 21% share of the audience, up 41% from the last year’s 7.3/18 for the last day.
Sunday’s rating/share peaked at 15.5/27 from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.
The 10.3/21 average is the highest since Tiger Woods’ victory in 2001 earned a 12.9/27.
In Los Angeles, Sunday’s coverage drew a 7.2/18. By comparison, the Lakers on Channel 7 got a 3.3/8 and the Dodgers on Channel 13 a 2.7/7.
