Mama Hilton: Paris Hilton’s mother, Kathy, will host a reality series on NBC this summer. “I Want to Be a Hilton,” arriving June 21, will feature 14 “eccentric young contestants” vying “for the opportunity to live the glamorous caviar-and-champagne lifestyle,” according to NBC.

Bush viewers: President Bush’s news conference Thursday night, carried on eight networks, was watched by 32.7 million people, Nielsen Media Research reported Friday, citing preliminary estimates.

Festival: Los Angeles will sponsor a festival May 22 to showcase the arts, food, music and dance of its 21 sister cities. The free event will be noon to 8 p.m. at the Page Museum gardens next to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Each city will have a “village” to show cultural and artistic attractions.
