Sunny Kim and Byung-Hyun Kim helped make a unique doubleheader a successful one for the Colorado Rockies.

Danny Ardoin hit a tiebreaking two-run home run, Byung-Hyun Kim won for the first time in seven starts, and the Rockies completed a doubleheader sweep of the Florida Marlins on Monday at Denver with a 5-3 victory in Game 2.

Colorado won the first game, 4-3, in 11 innings.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Sunny Kim and Byung-Hyun Kim became the first players with the same last name to start each game of a doubleheader since brothers Gaylord and Jim Perry did it for the Cleveland Indians on June 22, 1974, at Boston.

“Everybody thought it was a stab and something unique,” Manager Clint Hurdle said. “Sunny showed us a little something today, and in a game we needed some length, BK gave it to us.”

Ardoin ended a 3-3 tie in the sixth with his third home run of the year. Ryan Shealy was three for three and drove in a run in the second game and was five for eight with two RBIs in the doubleheader.

In the first game, Dustan Mohr homered with two outs in the 11th inning to give the Rockies the win.

St. Louis 8, Milwaukee 4 -- Mark Grudzielanek homered and drove in a career-high five runs at Milwaukee.

Grudzielanek also scored the go-ahead run on Abraham Nunez’s single against Matt Wise in the eighth inning that ended a 4-4 tie.

Randy Flores (2-1) pitched a perfect seventh for the win after Matt Morris failed to get his 100th victory because of an error by first baseman Albert Pujols that led to two unearned runs in the fifth.
