2 Die in Crash of Plane Flying From Riverside

A small plane crashed near the Mammoth Lakes area Monday, killing two people, authorities said.
Rescuers found the wreckage at the top of Sherwin Grade. The victims were not immediately identified. The plane is believed to have left Riverside heading north toward the Mammoth Lakes area when it crashed shortly before noon.
The National Transportation Safety Board will arrive today to investigate the crash.
