Walker Injured; Monarchs Fall
The New York Liberty took advantage of 56% shooting and the absence of Sacramento’s leading scorer, DeMya Walker, to defeat the Monarchs, 73-63, Friday night at Sacramento.
Walker did not suit up for Sacramento (13-7) after spraining her right knee Thursday in practice. She is expected to be out at least two weeks. New York (10-9) moved up to second in the East.
