Five of the six 2-year-old fillies running in today’s $75,000 Fashion at Belmont Park have something in common. They are unbeaten.

Flame Stitch, a daughter of Saint Ballado and trained by Wayne Lukas for owners Bob and Beverly Lewis, is the only member of the field who has lost. She was sixth in her debut at Keeneland on April 15, but returned 15 days later to win as the 6-5 favorite at Churchill Downs.

Of the others, Fifth Avenue is the only filly with a win at Belmont Park. A daughter of 2001 Kentucky Derby winner Monarchos owned by G R and S Stable and trained by Mark Hennig, she won by 3 1/4 lengths in her bow on May 18.
