Update -- FC Dallas, which has beaten Chivas twice by an aggregate 8-3, has scored a Western Conference-high 23 goals and allowed a conference-low 12. Chivas, meanwhile, has surrendered a league-high 33 goals. Chivas will be without injured forward Isaac Romo (hamstring) and defender Alfonso Loera (groin); Dallas is missing forwards Carlos Ruiz (ankle) and Eddie Johnson (toe) and midfielder Richard Mulrooney (knee). Chivas USA has been invited to play in the U.S. Open Cup and will play its first match in the tournament’s third round on July 13 against the El Paso Patriots or the Charlotte Eagles.
