3 Hurt in Crash of Small Plane at Catalina Airport

Three people were injured Friday when their small plane crashed at the Santa Catalina Island airport, authorities said.
Only one of the three was hurt seriously enough to be taken to a hospital, said Inspector Ron Haralson of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The person’s name and condition were not immediately available.
The crash happened about 5 p.m. on the edge of the island. Authorities hadn’t yet determined the cause.
