And the Winner Is: Leisure Woods Village
Residents of Leisure World in Laguna Woods have voted to change the retirement community’s name to Leisure Woods Village, a community spokesman said Saturday.
About 42.5%, or more than 2,700 residents, voted for the wining name during a Friday poll, said Marty Rhodes, chairman of a committee formed for the purpose.

Retirement community -- A news brief in Sunday’s California section incorrectly said that residents picked Leisure Woods Village as the new name for the Leisure World retirement community in Laguna Woods. The winning name was Laguna Woods Village.
Among the names rejected were: Laguna Woods Estates, Laguna Manors, Laguna Woods Resort and Saddleback Woods.
