Council OKs Subdivision for Verdugo Mountains

The Canyon Hills gated subdivision in Sunland-Tujunga was approved Wednesday by the City Council on a 13-0 vote.
Plans call for 221 homes to be built on the northern flank of the Verdugo Mountains, north of the 210 Freeway. The developer, Rick Percell, agreed to donate 608 acres to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.
