Get a grip: It’s not art

Re “What’s Up With That,” [Oct. 13]: Industrial scaffolding as art? P.T. Barnum was right! It appears that the Museum of Contemporary Art and other entities that share responsibility for this “construction” have more than their share of them on staff. There was really no reason to erect this eyesore. Wait a few more weeks and the real thing will appear across the street on the construction site there, all without a dime of cost.
