Update -- Chivas USA on Friday acquired Mexico youth international forward Jesus Morales, 20, from Chivas de Guadalajara. He is expected to make his MLS debut tonight. Morales has played three seasons for Guadalajara’s reserve team, Tapatio, and has appeared in two games for Guadalajara’s first team. Chivas USA will be without suspended midfielders Juan Pablo Garcia and Francisco “Panchito” Mendoza as well as defender Lawson Vaughn, who is recovering from sports hernia surgery performed in Munich, Germany, last week. Midfielder Juan Francisco “Paco” Palencia returned to training this week after a hamstring injury and is listed as probable. Chivas USA is in fourth place in the Western Conference, four points behind second-place Houston, which has lost three of its last five league games and will be without forward Brian Ching (torn knee ligament).
