Long Beach State (2-3) at Temple (1-2), 9 a.m. PST -- The 49ers are on a two-game trip to the East Coast after losing to USC and UCLA. Long Beach is shooting only 38.2% this season. Temple defeated Rutgers on Wednesday, the first victory for Coach Fran Dunphy, who replaced the retired John Chaney.

Pepperdine (1-5) at Oklahoma State (8-0), 1 PST -- The Waves head to Oklahoma without forward Chris Oakes and guard Mike Gerrity, who quit the team Wednesday. The Waves have lost their last three games, one by three points, one by two points and one in double overtime.

Texas San Antonio (3-4) at Cal State Fullerton (4-1), 6 -- The Titans are coming off their first loss of the season, but one of their victories came against Texas San Antonio on Nov. 22. They played that game without starters Bobby Brown, Scott Cutley and Frank Robinson, who have averaged a combined 55 points since returning from a four-game suspension.

UC Santa Barbara (4-2) at Portland (2-6), 7 -- After starting the season with four consecutive victories, the Gauchos have lost two in a row. Guard Alex Harris has scored 20 or more points in five consecutive games, the first Santa Barbara player to do that in 10 years.

USC (2-3) at Colorado (5-2), 1 PST -- The Trojans are looking for their first win on the road this season. Turnovers have been a problem for USC, which gave up 23 in a 72-65 loss to Nebraska on Sunday. The Buffaloes are off to their best start since the 2003-04 season.
