From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A homeless man who apparently started a fire in a trash bin to keep himself warm was found burned to death early Saturday.
Police have not identified the man who was discovered about 12:45 a.m. behind Freight Management Inc. in the 2900 block of La Palma Avenue, according to Police Sgt. John Johnson.
The man was engulfed in flames inside the 20-by-30-foot bin next to his bicycle, clothes and some beer bottles, he said.
