4.1 quake, 2 aftershocks occur near Palm Springs

A 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook the low desert near Palm Springs on Saturday night, authorities said.
No damage or injuries were reported.
The quake, whose epicenter was eight miles east of Coachella, struck at 7:43 p.m., and was followed by at least two aftershocks, according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s website.
