Nevada Las Vegas senior forward Sherry McCracklin remained hospitalized Sunday in Laramie, Wyo., after hitting her head and sustaining a concussion during a game against Wyoming the day before.

Mark Wasik, UNLV sports information director, said McCracklin was kept for “routine observation” and was expected to be released today.

McCracklin was knocked unconscious when her head hit the floor after she took a charge with 3:48 left in Saturday’s game. McCracklin got up after the play and walked a few feet before collapsing. Within minutes she started having a seizure. She regained consciousness at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.
