School officials arrived at Taft High School in Woodland Hills on Monday to find that 43 classrooms had been vandalized over the weekend, school police said.

The vandals smashed windows, damaged a few computers, broke tables and scrawled graffiti, said Sgt. Aaron Pisarzewicz of the Los Angeles School Police Department. School officials estimated the damage at $10,000, he said.

School police provided a cleanup crew, and the school was open Monday.

The suspects remain at large.
