It’s pouring up the coast

One hundred wineries from Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Monterey counties, the Central Coast, the Sierra foothills, Santa Barbara County and other areas will pour more than 350 wines Saturday at the third annual California Wine Festival.

The theme is “Reds, Whites and Blues at the Beach in Santa Barbara.” Held in beachfront Chase Palm Park, the event will serve, in addition to the featured beverages, live blues music and gourmet appetizers from local restaurants.

Local charities will receive a portion of proceeds from a silent auction of exotic and rare premium wines, dinners, vacations and other items.
