Update -- Chivas USA, which used its normal starting lineup except for goalkeeper Preston Burpo in the first half of an exhibition match against Club America of Mexico last Sunday, has never won in three games at Salt Lake but holds a nine-point lead in the Western Conference standings over its opponent. Chivas is coming off a wild 3-3 road tie against Colorado to keep the teams tied for third with 25 points. Although Chivas has lost only once in its last eight games, there have been only two wins in that stretch. Rookie Jonathan Bornstein, who leads Chivas in minutes played, continued his impressive season with two goals against Colorado after being moved from his usual left back position to forward.
