New Laker Motto: Win Some, Lose Some

Kobe Bryant blames a last-second questionable call for the Lakers’ one-point loss to the Celtics. I guess the other 2,879 seconds of the game don’t apply. I guess Kobe’s 12 misses were not a factor either

In a game in which Kobe Bryant took only 20 shots, the Lakers beat Orlando with one of the most balanced offensive attacks of the season. Smush Parker then summed up the game and the season: “Everybody touched the ball, everybody got their shots, everybody was happy. I actually smiled while I was playing.”
Let’s hope Smush’s comment was not lost on Kobe, who needs to decide whether a scoring title is more important than content and productive teammates.

I would have been shocked by losses to Atlanta, Boston, Portland and Charlotte only if I considered the Lakers a good team.
