at No. 15 Arkansas 38, Mississippi 3: Felix Jones returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, and the Razorbacks (6-1, 4-0) defeated the Rebels (2-6, 1-4) at Fayetteville to remain the only team with a perfect SEC record. Arkansas scored on its first offensive possession against Mississippi to lead 14-0.

at Georgia 27, Mississippi State 24: Charles Johnson forced a fumble and recovered it with three seconds left to preserve a win for Georgia (6-2, 3-2) over Mississippi State (2-6, 0-4) at Athens. Georgia overcame five turnovers to end a two-game skid.

South Carolina 31, at Vanderbilt 13: Syvelle Newton threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third score, and the Gamecocks (5-2, 3-2) defeated the Commodores (3-4, 1-4) at Nashville to keep Coach Steve Spurrier undefeated against the school. Spurrier has won all 14 games he has coached against Vanderbilt while at Duke, Florida and now South Carolina.
