Police Seek Clues in 64-Year-Old’s Death

Police are still looking for clues to the mysterious shooting of a 64-year-old man on his front porch in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
Cleophus Vernon was found dead of multiple bullet wounds when police responded to a report of shots being fired at 11:05 p.m. Friday.
Police are looking for witnesses to the incident, which occurred in the 7200 block of Brynhurst Street.
