Costa Mesa police Sunday identified the victim of a likely road rage shooting and are seeking information.

Duane Kressin, 28, of Costa Mesa was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the chest during an argument on the Del Mar Avenue offramp of the Costa Mesa Freeway about 5:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The alleged shooter was in a dark red Ford F-150 with a decal-covered camper shell and American and Israeli flags on the rear. The late-model pickup had a personalized Oregon license plate containing the letters A, M, G and E, police said.
