Pair accused of pelting cars are sentenced
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Two men charged with throwing heavy objects from a Pomona Freeway overpass onto vehicles were sentenced to four years in state prison Thursday, officials said.
Justin Adam Pecor, 20, and Anthony John Balsz, 24, both of Hacienda Heights, had entered not guilty pleas in July but switched their pleas to no contest.
Authorities alleged that the two threw rocks, bricks, bottles and other objects. A car and truck were hit, and two passengers suffered minor injuries.
