Simpson book finds a publisher

The O.J. Simpson book, “If I Did it,” which may or may not be the confessions of the football great about the murder of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman, has been sold to an undisclosed publisher by Los Angeles agent Sharlene Martin.

The book, which led to the shuttering of Judith Regan’s imprint and was available intermittently on the Internet, will be offered with new material that tells the point of view of the Goldman family.

Profits will go both to the Goldman family, who were awarded the book’s rights by a bankruptcy court, and the Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice, as well as to the agent and publisher.

Martin’s office, which declined to comment Monday, said it would reveal the publisher, which is based in New York, today.
