In Contention: The In Contention column in the Dec. 5 issue of The Envelope listed Randy Newman’s score for the film “Leatherheads” as a possible contender in the upcoming Oscar awards. “Leatherheads” opens in April 2008, making it eligible for Oscar consideration in 2009.
