Rescued teen is out of the hospital

A high school student who was one of four family members rescued from the Northern California mountains will spend Christmas at home.

Alexis Dominguez, 15, was released from Feather River Hospital on Saturday, nursing supervisor Alice Pastrano said.

Dominguez had been hospitalized since early Thursday after suffering pain in her toes from minor frostbite.

Alexis, her father and her two brothers were rescued Wednesday afternoon after they were spotted by a helicopter crew.
