Holiday closures

Tuesday is Christmas Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Government: All city, county, state and federal offices and public schools will be closed.
Mail: There will be no mail delivery and post offices will be closed.
Transportation: MTA buses and trains will follow their Sunday schedules. The Los Angeles County transit system will return to its regular weekday schedule Wednesday.
Trash: There will be no trash collection in Los Angeles; it will resume Wednesday.
