Minivan rolls into pond, sinks; 3 die

A woman chased her minivan as it rolled down a steep hill and jumped inside just before it went into a pond and sank, killing her and two children. A third child was in critical condition, authorities said in Bridgeport.
The woman, who was the mother of at least one of the children, had gotten out of the van to ask for directions, then noticed it was rolling away and jumped back in, authorities said.
