“Let’s see what’s going on in the NBA, or as they’re calling it now, the National Betting Assn. This is a huge scandal. The FBI is investigating charges one referee, a man named Tim Donaghy, may have bet on basketball games over the past two seasons, including some games he officiated.

“See, I knew there was an explanation for the Clippers making the playoffs a couple of years ago. This is being called the most awkward day for the NBA since Father’s Day. There’s now speculation that Donaghy may implicate other referees or even league officials because he has reportedly hired a Florida attorney who specializes in defending whistleblowers. But aren’t all referees whistleblowers?
