Disneyland death of teen examined
French police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old Spanish girl who lost consciousness while riding a roller coaster at Disneyland Resort Paris, park officials said.
The cause of the girl’s death Monday remained unclear. A preliminary inspection of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster found no malfunctions, Disneyland spokesman Pieter Boterman said.
Medical teams at the park in Marne-la-Vallee east of the French capital tried to revive her, but by the time the ambulance arrived, the girl had died, he said.
The ride was closed.
