What’s next?

Last year it was “Kings Rule!” and this year it’s “Play Hard!” Well, after enduring a dismal season, including the moving of players to playoff-contending teams, may I suggest the following motto for the Kings next year -- “Trade Me!”

No wonder Anze Kopitar has a back injury. This 19-year-old has had to carry the team on his back the entire season.

Too bad for Kings fans that billionaire owner Phil Anschutz isn’t ashamed to run a minor league team in the NHL as a convenient tool for his arena business.

Just received an e-mail from the Kings’ PR department, informing me that Marc Crawford is hosting a coaches’ clinic this weekend. I just checked the standings. Perhaps Crawford should be attending, rather than hosting, the clinic.
