* at Tampa Bay 4, Texas 3 (10 innings): Brendan Harris’ bases-loaded single in the 10th inning -- his fourth hit of the game -- drove in the winning run against Scott Feldman (1-2), who was recalled from triple-A Oklahoma earlier in the day. Texas outfielder Brad Wilkerson left the game in the fifth inning after injuring his right leg when he slid awkwardly to avoid a tag at second base. Rangers Manager Ron Washington said it appears Wilkerson pulled the hamstring and could be headed for the disabled list.

* at Cleveland 15, Minnesota 7: Paul Byrd won for the first time in three starts in May, and the Indians had two six-run innings in accumulating season highs in hits (17) and runs. Cleveland improved baseball’s best home record to 12-3 in the opener of a seven-game homestand. The Indians play eight of their next 12 games against the AL Central, against which they are 7-2 this season.

* at Toronto 2, Baltimore 1: Jesse Litsch pitched into the ninth inning in his major league debut and Troy Glaus singled in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning for the Blue Jays. Litsch walked Miguel Tejada with two out in the ninth, and Toronto Manager John Gibbons replaced him with Jeremy Accardo.

* Detroit 7, at Boston 2: Justin Verlander scattered six hits over 7 2/3 innings and Brandon Inge and Magglio Ordonez homered for the Tigers.

* at Oakland 5, Kansas City 4 (11 innings): Dan Johnson’s sacrifice fly to center scored Shannon Stewart with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning. The Athletics loaded the bases with one out on singles by Stewart and Nick Swisher, and an intentional walk to Eric Chavez.

* New York at Chicago, ppd., rain: The game will be made up today as part of a day-night doubleheader.

* at Seattle 11, Angels 3: Ichiro Suzuki had his sixth five-hit game, and the Mariners roughed up Kelvim Escobar in the easy victory.
