* at Arizona 6, Colorado 5: Carlos Quentin homered twice and drove in a career-high five runs, Chris Snyder went three for three and Tony Clark also homered for the Diamondbacks.
* at Cincinnati 8, Washington 7: Javier Valentin’s pinch-hit, two-run homer in the eighth inning helped the Reds rally from a 6-0 deficit.
* Milwaukee 9, at Dodgers 5: Prince Fielder hit two home runs as the Brewers won the matchup of division leaders.
