No to Big A-Rod
Hey Tony Reagins and Arte Moreno, forget A-Rod. If the Marlins are seriously shopping Cabrera, let’s pick him up.
Alex Rodriguez would infect the clubhouse with his hubris and annoy the living heck out of nice guy Mike Scioscia. Why bring in a $350-million disease when you could have a much cheaper and much younger hard-hitting partner for Vladimir Guerrero who is readily available. Cabrera brings with him a World Series ring (where’s A-Rod’s?), youth, a potential batting title and an appetite for success. A-Rod just brings bad news and a sour attitude.
