UC Riverside (0-1) at Texas Arlington (0-0), 6 PST -- The Highlanders were within a point midway through the second half of their opening loss 68-56 to Texas Tech, but were done in by 27 turnovers. Texas Arlington, led by 6-foot-9 shot-blocking specialist Jermaine Griffin, was picked to finish third in the Southland Conference West Division.

Arkansas Little Rock (1-0) at Loyola Marymount (0-1), 7 -- The Lions started three freshmen in their opening loss to UC Irvine, but they won the rebounding battle, 33-25, and had three players with at least five rebounds. Arkansas Little Rock set a school record for margin of victory in its 92-54 opening victory over Ozarks.
